I love Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang. My sister even called me Charlie Brown as a kid. Not so much because I loved the show, but because I had a BIG head. Do you feel hopelessly lost in the world and don’t know which way is up? Jesus can be your Wonderful Counselor. He can counsel you in which way to go and what decisions are best for your life. Do you feel like the whole world is against you? Are you scared about what stands before you? Jesus can be your Mighty God. If God is on your side (or if you are on God’s side), who can be against you (Romans 8)? You can do all things through Christ who strengthens (Philippians 4:13). Did you grow up alone in the world without a mother or father? Do you find yourself facing things in life by yourself? Jesus can be your Everlasting Father.  When you walk with Him you never feel alone. HE will never leave you or forsake you. Has life thrown more at you than you can handle and you feel overwhelmed? Jesus can be your Prince of Peace. Even when everything is crashing around you, His peace can calm the most nervous and troubled heart. Jesus can be all these things and more, IF you ask him to be. But it takes you choosing to follow Him; not your way but His way, and he promises to be all these things and MORE!
