Our Story
A church for Nashua and beyond.
Cedar Point began after Pastor Darin and his family returned to Iowa with a desire to help start a new church in northeast Iowa. After months of prayer and conversation, it became clear that Nashua was the place to begin.
In 2009, families began praying about joining the work. By July 2010, Cedar Point Church launched with a heart to see Nashua and the surrounding communities transformed by Christ.
We do not want to simply be the best church in the community. We want to be a church for the community.

Leadership
Rooted in Nashua. Focused on Jesus.
Pastor Darin grew up in Nashua and loves living here. After years in construction, God led him into pastoral ministry and eventually back to Nashua with a heart to reach people who are far from Christ.
His desire is to see people experience the freedom found in knowing and following Jesus. Cedar Point exists for that same purpose: transformed lives, authentic community, and mission lived out every day.
